An Invitation.. A Moment.. A Journey

Tuesday, November 2, 2010 | | 4 comments

Confession 1.

It was my last few legs in 10 days Rajasthan tour. I was in Udaipur, one of the most romantic cities in the world. I met a couple on my way to Lake Palace. They asked me a question which I had faced at least 6 times in my last 6 days of trip. Question was, “why are you alone?". ah! great! Answer was not quite simple because, its always tough to explain why are you alone. But, I still convinced them saying, "I love to be alone and I enjoy being myself".

Confession 2.

Nov 1st 2009, Delhi Airport, Way back to life, way back to Bangalore after 10 days of excursion. Honestly, for few seconds, I did think, I have reached the limit of being myself and enjoyed it thoroughly. Now, its time to find a travel partner, someone who is as real as me.

Confession 3.

Those 10 days had changed lot of things in life, perception towards country, people, life, relationships drastically. And my mom was scared of me being hippie. She thought its time for me to settle down and I thought its time which has come at right time.

Confession 4.

Somebody said, marriage is, It's a wonderful thing, as time goes by, to be with someone who looks into your face, when you've gotten old, and still sees what you think you look like. Okay, it sounds good, but practically, not sure and that’s why it’s a biggest gambling human can play!? Well, I really don’t believe in love which brings people together for wedding, instead I would believe togetherness which will bring love for each other. I guess later will stay for quite longer than earlier. So, it took few months and by Feb 2010, there was somebody whom everybody under our house roof agreed to be part of our family. Yeah! For my friends, relatives, quite against to their thought and my reputation, I was all set for an Arranged Marriage. If you want it in more filmy way you can say, hmm…"Made in Heaven” (where customer support doesn't exist :D) . Well, there is nothing much to talk about girl whom I’m going to marry except we acknowledge ourselves quite well and I myself decided to know more after once the journey begins. I know there is long life waiting for us.

Invitation:

Everybody whom I met on my way have an impact on my life and which I will cherish forever. There are no moments of regrets as all were wonderful. A wedding is a start of togetherness... of walks in the rain, basking in the sunshine, shared meals, caring for one another and sensing the love that a marriage carries. I would love to see you and your family at the venue of my wedding with Dimple on 10th Nov 2010. Its going to be one of the best moments of my life and it’s my pleasure to invite you to be part of happiness. Please come over and make this occasion so memorable.

A Smile Away..

Monday, October 12, 2009 | | 0 comments

I never wanted to post this particular poem on blog. But again, that was 7 months back. Most of the time, we all live in the virtual life of ours. Talking to new people, finding new way of conversations, impressing few and blocking few more. One evening I found someone in my life too. She was awfully charming! *grin*

Disguised as dreams, gleaming pair of eyes
You sink for a smile as it soaks into sorcery
Should I say it mesmerizes or shall live with it?

Darken eyelids, dancing curls
Magic look, mystery book
Should I say it mesmerizes or shall live with it?

When million words are said
Wake less vocals are heard
When life awaited for her
Picture was never been blur

Have seen lustrous light, but
not in the night
Have seen hoi polloi, but
not as special as her
Should I say she mesmerizes or shall I live...?

I myself don't know what made me to write these few lines about her. May be her pretty face inspired me to write. As I said, then I never thought of posting it but, today I liked it more. Reason? Looking for reasons is injurious to health...

Thanks for that smile which took away few of my heart beats…

Flying High..

Monday, July 20, 2009 | | 6 comments

Just like the way Chrsitopher Gardner says, "This part of my life... this part right here? This part is called "Joyousness”. It was an emotion of great happiness.I remember growing up in small 1BHK house in Dharmasthala with my parents and kid sister. It was a typical middle-class life. When I say 'Middlie-Class' life; it was typical 80's middle class life. There wasn’t "today's" upper middle class. Our every day was planned and every night was gratifying. This is the place where dreams are born.Trust me; for poor, doesn’t have time to dream, for rich, doesn’t need a dream. A dream of being successful can only be seen next to middle-class man's bed.

But,why I'm I talking all those things over here right now? I haven’t achieved anything successful yet which I'm really in process of dreaming now. But, I think I have done something which was dreamt by someone else and I just helped him to achieve it. What I have got is something which can not be explained. As Garth Brooks says, “You aren’t wealthy until you have something money can’t buy".Its True.

My dad is always been a source of inspiration. Not because we always had a conversation or discussion. No, he inspired me because he respected every damn decision I had taken in my life.He never questioned my decision ever since I started in standard 8th to till date.He believed in me. He allowed me to learn from my mistakes. This is something which I never told him and I'm really grateful for being reason behind what I'm today. We all have a dream and most of the time we don’t want to share it with everybody even if the person is close enough. My dad had a dream of flying in an air-plane at least once in his life time. For a self made, middle-class man like him it was pretty costly dream. Just like any other burgher, hemight have postponed it for his son's life time.In fact he did and obviously I wasn’t aware of it.I have my own kind of affection towards my family. I always believed that there is nothing can stand by you during your bad times except your family.Family was always been a first priority. So, this day I decided take my dad in an air-plane.

I remember how anxious I was on my first day in school, or in college or at work place.Everywhere, every time it was the same expression.I could see it on his face when we reached airport. When we sat inside, first thing he asked, "That’s it? This is how the inside of an air-plane looks like?" I said, “Yes”. The expression and emotions on his face, was indefinable. When we were flying high, he was lost in the clouds and breathtakingly beautiful view of earth from top. He turned to me and said, "Thanks, this one is going to be very memorable”.I want to say, just like the way Chrsitopher Gardner says, "This part of my life... this part right here? This part is called "Joyousness".

Small Steps

Friday, March 6, 2009 | | 1 comments

I remember reading an old chinese proverb 'It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a great leap forward only to stumble backward'. And here is a small step. I read about this particular organisation from a piece of paper which had pasted in a bulletin board belongs to Auroshilpam, Auroville. I had visited this place to see Matrimandir.

Small Steps has started as a quite revolution against plastic bags usage in India. It is an initiative to promote environmental awareness. The project's first step is to promote a responsible alternative to throw-away plastic bags. Upasana Design Studio has helped to achieve this goal by designing a bag. These are re-usable bags.As they say, Small Steps is not about bags.Small Steps says something big: Solutions to our problems lie in every little step we take each day bag makers have aim to make 10 million bags, this in turn creates the possibility of 1000 jobs in the villages.

Its a honest effort to bring enironmentla awareness in people and creating a world for better living. It's not a promotional post, its about support for a good cause.I would like everybody to read what Economist writes about plastic usage in India. Small Steps is, perhaps, ideally suited to the gift economy distribution model because it is not so much a product as an opportunity to participate in a movement of positive social change. Upasana puts it this way: It is not only about making a better world, It is also about changing ourselves, Learning new values, Taking responsibility, Loving our mother earth. It is our love in action. Here is the story of little bag:

Be a part of this and spread the sentience..

Half a Cup of Coffee

Love at First sight? - Nah!! I don't believe in it
First Love? - Yup.
Where did you guys meet for the First time? - One of my friends Marriage
Who was the First to propose? - Hmm... Guess it's me
When you guys did went out for the First time? - Soon after we met. May be after 10 days
Who was the First to call it off? -

Everything happens for the first time except realization. It's very common when we wish for all our 'First' to stay with us till 'Last'. But, do we really consider our first as last? Not in every case I guess.

Corner seat of Barista with cup of hot coffee. Smelled good.[ I closed my eyes just to recall the day I spent in one of the coffee estates in Coorg.Early morning walk within coffee trees and a sip of 'Estate Coffee'. It's a heaven! ].Coffee was really hot, so the frequency of I sipping it was pretty less. I picked up a magazine which was just next to coffee cup and started reading it.One of those fairly written column caught my eyes. Later I wondered how a fairly written piece held me for 15 minutes. May be it had more information which I was expecting by chance!. Now I'm back to finish my remaining half a cup of coffee. Oh no!! Coffee is cold and I don't like [Its not equal to hate] cold coffee. What should I do with this coffee? I can't ask cafe people to heat it for me. Because, cold coffee and the reason behind it was my problem.Cup of coffee in one hand which I didn't like to gulp in single shot, folded magazine in another hand which is noetic. Going out of cafe for the first time without finishing my cup of coffee. When I turned back, half a cup of coffee smiled and said," Hope you come again to finish other half". I said, "I hope so"

I don't know when I will have time to go back and have a cup of coffee. But,I will make sure that despite the magazine, I will finish it. Many of us must have gone through all these first times in life. Soon they realize the value of jewel they lost sooner they grow up to find the perfect one for them. But, its always tough job to forget the 'First' one. First bicycle, First Pencil, First Competition which you won, and of course the first relationship which taught you so much in life. Consequences which was like the magazine which you were reading in cafe may appear in life yet again; It may steal the moment from you which you wouldn't have expected. Ready for the consequences but keep the Hope alive.

I Wish your half a cup of coffee will remain hot forever!. I read somewhere that Love lasts when the relationship comes first. Make sure you live last like the last drop of coffee which tastes same as the first.

When You Celebrate!!

Friday, March 7, 2008 | | 7 comments

This post is about one of the beautiful creation of God, Woman. Its completely belongs to my own perceptual experience. When entire world celebrating Women’s Day , let me be part of the celebration to thank some of them who really inspired me. It may be different when Man writes about Woman in this occassion, but, its important for me to say how a Woman inspires a Man to live.

She is the reason for why and what I'm today. She is the first person to teach "Time Sense" and "Discipline" in life when I was in class 1. I wrote it down in Rock and will always stay with me. Only person who has seen me crying and even today I cant hide my tears from her, at this age. Always been a great support and inspiration. She is my mom.

She is two years younger than me. But, she is the first person whom I ask for my major conclusions. She is Practical, Charming. Amazing lecturer for her students and She is my kid sis Maansi. We share same B’day and that’s what makes me feel good when I say I have a wonderful sister.

She is someone whom I know from my class 2.We never expected anything from each other and that’s the reason, she is my friend, my well wisher and I know she will be there with me whenever I need her. Thanks to you.

She is someone whom I met and lost in the way of my life. Never thought she will come into my life with such soft steps. Never thought she will go out of my life with such an impact which I remember unconsciously through out my life. I don’t hate
her because I don’t have rights to do it I guess. She inspired in some way. Thanks to her.

Blogging world introduced me to couple of ladies who possess amazing character within them. They really inspired me. One is technically cool, another one is intellectually brilliant. They are genuinely nice and inspired me. Thanks

One incident introduced me to this person who I know from quite sometimes now. Never met her but she is sensible, wonderful and one sweet solace soul. This is what I can say about her at this point. Thanks to you for your support :)

"It wasn't the airplanes. It was beauty killed the beast". One of the memorable quotes from movie King Kong. Yes, it’s Woman and her Beauty is the important necessity of Man's life. When you read the beauty falsely, it betrays more than it fascinates. Her beauty lies in her attitude. Her beauty lies in care she shows. Her beauty lies in her love. Her beauty lies in her pain. Her beauty lies in her silence which has just overcome 1000 words. Thanks to you all. Keep inspiring.

Every Woman is Wonderful when you make her feel Wonderful.

Inspiration

Monday, September 24, 2007 | | 9 comments

Inspiration, a special influence of a divinity on the minds of human beings. We are all inspiration for each other. You know what you are.. You know what inspires you.

It has been seven years in Bangalore and it inspired me to live. I remember that shivery morning of capital in early 2000.My second visit to Bangalore to join Engineering College. Place, People and Polish were raw to me. Kind of daunted. Later in the days, thanks to rebuking ragging in college Hostel. I struggled to stand as I came out of strange and very calm hamlet I must say.

But, as days started flying, things got changed. Furious seniors became good friends as I started participating in college Cultural meets. They inspired me to talk the way I wanted to talk. Inspired me to have a passion for life. made me to learn and play guitar. Thanks to slugged campus committee which taught us how to struggle for piece of your daily bread.

College gave wonderful souls for life time albeit we seldom see each other. When I reached my final year, life and its style had changed. It changed with time for this super city!!.
One man who always possesses taking decisions in my life is Me. Further Studies got a big blow when my financial condition went for a toss. And things changed yet again and 'm back to BMTC with daily pass in search of job. One of the worst phase of my Life and soon I realized that, you need 2 other things with distinction to get a job. First one was my plume and Recommendation and luck were strangers to me. After long struggle I joined a firm which gave me everything and made me workaholic for life time. People in the place inspired me to get a breakthrough from every damn impeding task i was dealing with. That was fun.

Work made me to taste money and money killed me to live.he he ...Yeah!!I started moving out with great deals and responsibilities. Life has changed from BMTC to own vehicle, college banyan tree bus stop to glittering airports, cutting chai to coffee day cappuccino, Barista hangouts, Market Streets to Branded Malls, Radio to ipod. Life has changed with intact soul inside .Becuase it inspired me and others to live.

Every right thing in life inspires you to do right things and I'm lucky as my wrong decision inspired me to do right thing for future. Someday i will write about someone who inspired me to love specially with difference. She is no more with me but the smoldering pain of it talks everyday with me.

I'm blessed to know many people with whom I feel more comfortable. They inspired me to live everyday with inspiration.

"Just don't give up on trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong.”- Ella Fitzgerald

Life is very short..Let it be inspiring one

They were saying something i guess..Really nice pic again..very expressive..and the poem is here!!. Thanks syn....

They amazed everytime
When i gazed at
Another reason for me
To drop night with scent

Adore the smirk of it
Stars are diffident and abashed
Moon charmed for it
Let me curtain the boudoir

Swear you Slumber
Sweet Its just day in your face
Oh its dazzling to entice
Let me love your eyes

Free Hugs
